Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. In lieu of a degree, with at least five (5) years of directly related operational experience may be a substitute.
- Have a working knowledge of one or more utility systems (to include cooling, heating, ventilation, industrial water, wastewater, power, inert gas, compressed/instrument air, hydraulic, and/or fuel systems).
- Working proficiency in using computer systems and software programs. Willing and able to learn modeling software on the job.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicant will be required to produce written technical reports, presentations and give briefings to technical and non-technical personnel.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in either designing, installing, maintaining, optimizing and/or repairing multiple industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, and/or controls, etc.).
- Working proficiency in engineering and/or modeling software.
- Experience designing, installing, maintaining and/or repairing multiple industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls, etc.).
- Experience designing, constructing or assessing building structures and/or infrastructure.
- Experience designing, constructing or assessing hardened or underground structures and/or infrastructure.
Other Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess TS/SCI clearance
- Eligible to take a CI polygraph
- Travel: Up to 10% travel required and the ability to travel on short notice
